Upslope Brewing
Upslope Brewing in Boulder recently installed a new canning line and added automated packaging equipment.  Baack Controls assisted with installation of a new IDEC FC6A PLC controller and HG2G color touchpanel to control the canning line VFDs and various photoeyes and sensors.  Upslope purchased used packaging equipment with older Allen Bradley PLC controllers.  Modifications were made to make the used equipment work with the Upslope operation.  Current projects are in the works to automate the Angelus filler and seamer to allow the canning and packaging equipment to adjust automatically to varying conditions and prevent downtime and increase throughput of the entire system.
Boulder Beer Company

Boulder Beer Company uses a Krones bottling system with an Allen Bradley PLC5 controller and touchpanel.  The original operator touchpanel failed unexpectedly and the bottling line was down.  There was no software backup of the touchpanel application.  Baack Controls arrived on site to gather as much information as possible.  The next day a new RedLion touchpanel was installed and operation resumed.
